Finisar’s compact EPON ONU Sticks integrate an SFP transceiver with an embedded EPON ONU. They comply with the IEEE802.3ah EPON standard and optionally support CTC OAM or DPoETM specifications. Access to digital diagnostic capabilities is provided via the 2-wire serial bus defined in the SFP MSA.

The device supports a remarkable reach exceeding 20 km and employs a single fiber bi-directional SC receptacle.
